JUST IN CASE ...

If you've ever wanted to look stylish on a weekend jaunt away somewhere, well here are the perfect accessories ...

Three fantastic vintage travel cases to choose from!

First up is this small but perfect 1950s brown leather case.

A super 70s case, naturally for the decade, it comes in a mad orange/brown colour!
And has a real-retro cool look to it.

And this is my favourite, another one from the 1950s, but with a nice authentic extra touch.

Not only is this 'Lightweight Travair' case classically vintage looking, it comes with amazing original luggage labels.

Still stuck on the side are labels from 1955 for British Railways and Southern Railway, showing the station Fullerton.

Fullerton Junction station was on a line between Andover and Redbridge in Hampshire, and was brilliantly known as the Sprat and Winkle Line!!
The station was closed in 1964.
Curiously, Southern Railway was renamed into British Railways in 1948, and yet they were still using the luggage labels with the original name as late as 1955!
The case really evokes travelling on steam trains in a lost era.

I'm bringing these cases along to my next fair, at the lovely LOU LOU'S BOURNEMOUTH VINTAGE FAIR on Sunday 17th February, at the Pavilion Theatre down on Bournemouth's seafront.
See you there, if you want a brief encounter with these cases!!
