NEW FOOTIE COLLAGES!

Here are two brand new designs from my RETRO FOOTBALL series!

The giants of Scottish football, the Old Firm duo of RANGERS and CELTIC.

Was great fun putting these together, as they are clubs with such rich and amazing histories.

I've had them printed, and are both available as 7x5 greetings cards.

Get in touch if you would like some!

IVY

Spotted this scene the other day, on a rare foray into the outside world.

A lone ivy making its way in the world, on a wall outside a manor house in Dorset.

MID-CENTURY 1950s 'ATOM' COAT RACK

Got this amazing 1950s coat rack for sale!!!

Absolute classic 50s look, with the 'Atom' style red and white pegs, that would look so cool in a vintage fan's home.

The rack is metal, and I've stripped down and resprayed the black frame, keeping the pegs as they are, to preserve the original, worn vintage look.

Had I restored everything, it would've ruined the whole thing, making it look too new.

AT LEAST WE HAVE THE FOOTIE ...

Found this fantastic image in the ArtPix Archives the other day of a footie fan from 1962.

With his unfeasibly large rosette, he's enjoying the simple pleasure of going to a match to support his team. Lucky chap.

Played around with it a bit, adding a bit of colour, then a backdrop of the old East Stand at Stamford Bridge.

KEEPING YER HEAD ABOVE WATER

Absolutely no sign of any normality breaking out in the vintage world yet.

Flea Markets and boots are still way off in the distance, and don't even bother thinking about indoor fairs.

My unit at the emporium down at The Customs House in West Bay is still firmly shut as well.

So it's still very much buying and selling online for me and many others.

Not great, but it gives me the chance to sell stuff, (and buy stuff!!).

Please keep on checking the Facebook Marketplace for my vintage goodies.

I also have absolutely tonnes of football stuff that will one day go online.

For instance, I found what I thought were fairly innocuous looking 90s Merlin trade cards of various players in the ArtPix Storeroom the other day. When I had a quick look on Ebay, people are flogging these cards at up to £65 each!!!!!

I was gonna sell the whole lot for a tenner, so it pays to check first!!

RETRO FOOTIE

One of the many depressing features of 2020, was the fact that I didn't go to a single football match for the entire year.

Which, amazingly, is the first year that has happened since 1977!!!!

My visits to SW6 were already getting rarer anyway, due to finances, price of tickets, ticket availability, other commitments, and then finally moving out to Dorset!

But I was planning on going to a few local matches to get my footie fix. But of course that didn't happen.

So at least we can still indulge in a little Retro Football ...

Especially as I'm in the process of producing two brand new artworks featuring the Old Firm – Rangers and Celtic.

Has been great trawling through the ArtPix Archives for images once again, and putting these artworks together. Check out these old programmes from the two teams below ...

I'll do a few more teams in the next few weeks, so keep an eye out.

THE CUSTOMS HOUSE

Just letting you know that the emporium where I have a unit, THE CUSTOMS HOUSE, in West Bay, Dorset, has had to close for the foreseeable, as we enter the next lockdown ...

I am still trading on the Facebook Marketplace, and also, as people are doing, have contacted me directly via my email to ask about things.

COLD INNIT?!

Has been a cold start to 2021 ...

But at least my online sales on Facebook Marketplace are keeping me warm, with treks to the Post Office and back!!

Keep on buying everyone, and support small traders like myself!
