PICTURE POST

A couple of weeks ago, I was lucky enough to get a stash of Picture Post magazines from the Sanctuary Bookshop, in Lyme Regis.

It included the very first issue, from October 1st 1938 ...

These are my favourite vintage magazines.
The covers were always fantastic, and the features and photo reports were way ahead of their time.

As they are a such fave of mine, I'm doing an article about them in my very own magazine, ARTPIX.
The first issue of which will be out very soon!!
