The sci-fi adventure came the year after the staggering success of Star Wars, and starred Lorne Green, Richard Hatch and Dirk Benedict, as Lieutenant Starbuck. Whatever happened to that name??!
It ran for 24 episodes from 1978-79 and was rehashed in 2004 as a high-budget, glossy TV show all over again.
But the original has stood the test of time, and is a much-loved classic.
Front and back of the original box.
The wings can actually be moved into three different positions.
Great 70s styling on the tail!
The canopy opens up to reveal the fighter pilot, which can also be removed.
There is also a Laser Torpedo at the front which can be fired!
And check out this amazing Instructions sheet, which shows you everything the Colonial Viper could do and also all the other fighters and vehicles available.
Toys from the 70s series are actually quite rare these days, especially with their packaging.
So lucky you, as this is for sale and can be found on my stall at the GIANT TOY COLLECTORS FAIR at Shepton Mallet on 25th March!!
