1950s RECORD RACK

This is a great example of a 1950s way of storing your 7" singles ...

The rack has a great mixture of very rare copper-plating, but also the classic 1950s 'Atomic' era feet.

This was a time when music and teen culture was really kicking off in this country. Kids were now able to have their own styles and sounds for the first time.
Rock 'n' Roll and Elvis were being bashed out in teen's bedrooms up and down the country, on new fangled portable record players, with their collections of singles neatly stacked on one of these racks!!

This one holds 50 records, so is a very handy and stylish way to display your very own collection of vintage vinyls!

If this rocks your boat, then roll on down to LOU LOU'S BOURNEMOUTH VINTAGE FAIR at the Bournemouth Pavillion this Saturday, where you'll find it on my stall!!!
